Just blowing off some steam.

Got a watercolour set as an early christmas present, so I’m trying to relearn (or maybe just learn) how to do it again. I’ve been doing a lot of practising with pencil and paper, so I can’t scan them! Boo. They’re just rough anyway, so maybe that’s for the best. This first one is a…

I did this more like a few days ago but it got buried in a pile of other rough drawing practice. I loved spiderman when I was a kid (and now) but I never drew him because he’s too hard for a kid to draw! So many webs and precisely placed muscles. Hasn’t really got better for…

Doing some studies from some photos of the Hansel and Gretel set. I’m a derp and had to use the clone tool on some edges because I didn’t ink in all the black spots, haha.

Third monster.

Figured there just wasn’t enough weird monster things in my life. This is another creature that I want to put in my (maybe) animation. I seem to have a thing with getting ideas from animals that freak me out. Baboons’ teeth are so big they look like they shouldn’t fit in their face.

Coloured my monster thing from a while ago – he turned out so creepy and gross! But eels creep me out, that’s probably why. He’d also have to be a lot less frilly if I wanted to animate him. I just can’t help it, I get carried away with frills.
