Went crazy with some patterns and hands. I like how this one turned out, I’d like to neaten it up on the computer or something later. Also used up two of the cards I’ve been hoarding for no reason, happy I did that. Surface wasn’t awesome for watercolours though, might try the gouache next time.…

Trying to convey some character relationship. I haven’t uploaded much lately because I’ve been doing loads of environment studies on various pieces of paper with german exercises on the back, which are both not very beautiful and impossible to scan, haha.

Third monster.

Figured there just wasn’t enough weird monster things in my life. This is another creature that I want to put in my (maybe) animation. I seem to have a thing with getting ideas from animals that freak me out. Baboons’ teeth are so big they look like they shouldn’t fit in their face.

Coloured my monster thing from a while ago – he turned out so creepy and gross! But eels creep me out, that’s probably why. He’d also have to be a lot less frilly if I wanted to animate him. I just can’t help it, I get carried away with frills.

Tried just using the brush pen today – I think I should start storing it upside down or something. It seems like it’s running out but I haven’t had it that long, but also I kinda like the slight dryness.
