I’m back! I’m just back from a holiday, which always makes me reassess my life a bit, and I’m trying to make some improvements. I realised this blog was one of my better habits that fell by the wayside, and I want to make more time for it. I don’t have much art to show…

Where’s this going? NOBODY KNOWS
-
Was feeling a bit blah and tried to shake it off by making something and I don’t hate how it’s going, so I guess that worked! Man but all my heads end up so bobbly and huge looking, my life drawing teacher would kill me if she saw this! Also apparently there’s like 41 people…

Nothing new, I just thought it would be fun to show my process.

Tried a study of Carson from Downton Abbey because dang I love that show and him. Going to try and fix it tomorrow, but it’s not bad for now. I don’t know why, but I realised while doing this that my favourite characters in this series are all servants, totally didn’t even think about that…

Cleaned up the frog picture. Spending a lot of time on this, considering it was such a random silly idea, haha.
-
Idea that I’m not sure is going to go anywhere, but I’m finding it kind of interesting just messing around with it.
-
Finally made a proper b+w turnaround for my main character. Sort of. She’s so sullen, haha. This will make it much easier to figure out the colours though, and doing turnarounds is like my favourite thing to do ever. I also still don’t know what to call this project, so far it’s in a file…

Some animations I’ve been making in the past few days. It’s times like these I tend to think WHERE HAS ALL MY KNOWLEDGE GONE? Also animation loops are super addictive.

Daniela Denby-Ashe as Margaret in North and South, she’s got a stunner of a face. Can’t get the likeness yet, see how it goes.
