Last month, I took a trip with my two friends to stay with them at their home in the Dominican Republic. It was a really great experience and probably the longest time I’ve had to properly rest and do nothing to try and recover from the stress of my old job and various other things.

Ouch, I think my hand is going to hurt tomorrow. But I finished a picture that I’m really proud of! So I feel lots of regret, but also triumph. Strange combination? I feel like for the rest of my life I’m going to be walking this tightrope between too much pain and not enough drawing.
