Last month, I took a trip with my two friends to stay with them at their home in the Dominican Republic. It was a really great experience and probably the longest time I’ve had to properly rest and do nothing to try and recover from the stress of my old job and various other things.

I’ve done some digital paintings the past few weeks that I’m really proud of and wanted to show them off a little. Ouch, I think my hand is going to hurt tomorrow. But I finished a picture that I’m really proud of! So I feel lots of regret, but also triumph. Strange combination? I feel like for the rest of my life I’m going to be walking this tightrope between too much pain and not enough drawing.

Instagram pics from the last week or two! I’m still making no progress on fixing my right hand problems, which got much worse this week because I had to make it hurt to get an MRI scan, and I’m still paying all that right hand use. So, that’s not fun but at least there’s some

Went crazy with some patterns and hands. I like how this one turned out, I’d like to neaten it up on the computer or something later. Also used up two of the cards I’ve been hoarding for no reason, happy I did that. Surface wasn’t awesome for watercolours though, might try the gouache next time.
